Jeff Jones scored 15 points and Mike Scott added 14 with 11 rebounds for Virginia (15-16), which notched a 68-62 win over Boston College in the first round on Thursday. The Cavaliers, who were within two late in the contest, haven't been to the ACC semifinals since 1995.
