Shipp, No. 22 UCLA outlasts Stanford

Three straight free throws from Lawrence Hill squared the game at 48-48 and Goods' two free throws moments later actually put the Cardinal back in front.

Shipp drained another big three several minutes later for a 57-52 game, but Brown's long-distance jumper moments later put the Cardinal right back in the thick of the game, 61-57. Josh Owens trimmed the margin to 63-61 with 6:28 on the clock and the game stood at 72-69 with 1:45 left after a pair of Fields free throws.

After an empty Bruins possession, Goods made 1-of-2 free throws to make the score 72-70. Aboya then hit the initial pair of free throws with 14 seconds left, and his final two shots from the charity stripe with 1.7 ticks to go sealed the victory.

UCLA leads the historic all-time series, 132-89...Stanford shot 49 percent from the floor and made half of its three-point attempts (7-of-14)...UCLA hit an efficient 51.8 percent of its shots, including 8-of-16 three-point attempts.
